Hey!

Stumbled across you again and wanted to say thanks for the namecheck on those early works of yours. I have some of those early comicbooks we did in 78/79 in storage and will get hold of them again sometime next year.

I didn't stick with art, but the imagination and the writing projects like that sparked in me stayed with me and led me to the career I have today.

You and Ed Winton - did you ever track him down? - were really inspiring and it was a grand time of my life, so thanks for being part of it!

Daz,

Beautiful, insightful summery of the root of much pain in life, "our fears and apathy"... on the point.

I am intrigued...very. Thank you so much for the brief, poignant and genuine auto-biography... as inspiring, delightful and quirky as your work.

Count me as a fan...

BTW, no mention of a wife? ;-}

Respectfully,

Hello, Daz! I was checking what the net said about me, and was surprised very much to find you have listed me on your site as an awesome artist. I don't know how you know this, since we have never met. You are an awesome artist as well, and I enjoyed reading your life story! My websites are down right now, but I am sending a few jpgs to an artist rep soon, and will send them to you at the same time. I am starting to build a financial dynasty on the internet right now, and my friend Amanda was so upset I had stopped painting that she offered to build the first 9 sites for me. So hoping to get back to painting soon. My gallery sites were not successful about 10 years ago, and I have since had an expensive education in internet marketing. So I'm focused on making money instead of art, because of blah blah blah I have nothing to help my children live great lives, and I want to!! They are about your age, as is my friend Amanda, also an awesome artist! email if I can be of help in the marketing area. One of my sites this year will present a new artists' Color Wheel to the world. It will generate a LOT of awesome artists when they quit following Sir Isaac Newton and follow me instead. It's time to quit using the ancient wheel! Look for the site in a few months if you are interested. It will be called ReinventingtheColorWheel.com. Thanks for sharing your bubbling creativity...email me anytime. Margo

Hello Daz I came across your webpage and read your whole story, I found it to be very very intriguing, as is your artwork. I also wanted to mention that I really appreciate you putting my name in with other hard working artist on your list as well, I really consider it an honor. Anyways keep up the great work you're doing.

Hi Daz,
I wondered what you have been up to of late! It is good to here you are still making are as I am still making it and teaching it! I'm retired from IVC and now teach Graphic Design and Photography part-time at ICC. Still making pottery and taking pinhole photos. So you are now back in Peoria? I do remember the uproar over the cartoon in the "IVCene". You have always had a unique view of the world through you art and music. I plan on coming back and exploring your web site more. I'll put you on my artfair mailing list and maybe we could get together and visit.
An old art teacher!
Take Care,

You have a great deal of talent, Daz. Sometimes a break is what we need to refresh our creative spirits. I hope you let me know what you do when you are back to the canvas.

I think it's wonderful you had that time with your step-Grandmother and I'm sure she cherished it with all her heart. Sometimes the best gifts come in the most heartening of packages. But it only takes one moment to change our lives forever and bring us into the awakening of pure love.

Your first oil painting ever show such immense talent, it makes my heart weep. We have a group of artists which we promote at www.SantaFeArtWorld.com. You can reach me at which ever website you would like, but I would really like to see more of your work in a manner more easily displayed.

My friend and much admired fellow artist, Virginia Erdie told me about you. I hope to hear from you soon. Best ~ Denise

DAZ,
I am honored to be listed among the others on your artist page.
Had to laugh out loud when you wrote of listening to Coast to Coast and the "Lizard People".
Here in the desert the Mojave Indian have a legend about "Frog People"
in the "Black Mountains". Considering that the Mojave have inhabited this
for more than 7,000 years I will absolutely heed their warnings. The "Black Mountain Range" can be seen from our area and I have no desire to go there.
Thought that you might get a laugh from the trivia.
LOVE, PEACE, and PROSPERITY ABIDE for you and yours.
Respectfully, J. Sandoval

Daz..somehow I've never read this. I LOVED reading it (you even made me get teary eyed). What a great journey you've had, thus far! I very much look forward to reading about your path as you continue on.

I do count you "totally in the ranks of the totally cool…"

Namaste', my friend!
