'Abstract' is such a commonly used word these days and I feel that it's time to reintroduce the term 'Aesthetics' to the world of art. I especially enjoy the 'aesthetic' of your first image ... it makes me want to continue.

The thing that I absolutely love about non-objective art is that it makes your art interactive and on many levels. I find that not only does the impartial observer interpret all sorts of things to make sense of the shapes and colors, but even I as the artist can often see knew things which I did not see at first glance or even intend.

My free-flowing Simian Style art sometimes is wholly non-objective, but at minimum seems to take on a non-objective component.

I really enjoyed seeing some of your non-objective and abstract art. I certainly would never presume to pigeon-hole you and I am glad you don't pigeon-hole yourself.

You put front and center on this website the concept that an artist allows himself or herself to "be inspired." You live by that too.

I feel like an idiot now;I had no idea of the difference between abstract and non-objective art. Good to know. But I do like the fact that you're not trying to pigeonhole yourself. My professors and I discuss this a lot. It's great to be a diverse artist! And your art reflects that. Like you said, creativity is a gift.
