and some more cat art!

I like cats, I don’t worship cats like we have been told that the ancient Egyptians did, but cats are a symbol of cooperation and exchange love with humans so they are a positive force that I like to pay homage to in my art. All fine art by Darren Daz Cox super genius mega cool and yet so so humble West Peoria Illinois artist!

  1. I don’t worship cats either – I live with them, and that intimacy sort of takes the shine off the “worship” thing, especially when they’re barfing up hairballs at the end of your bed at 2 in the morning – but I do love them like crazy. I can TOTALLY see why cats are so often spiritualists’ familiars…

  2. I like the melded look of the cats.

My cat is named Thomas, and we call him little bastard. He always steps in front of me in the morning to get me to check on his food dish. Which is always full. He just doesn’t want me to forget about him, I guess. Little bastard.

I rescued him from my father-in-law, because he had an eye infection and I had to spend $500 to cure him. When you save someone you are in charge of them for the rest of their lives.

Cats are grounding. I like the way they want attention when they want it. Not when you want to give it to them!
