Bubble Falls either way

oil painting by Darren Daz Cox I was thinking that this new oil painting I’m working on could be hung ‘upside down’ and still work as decoration and to allow people to see things in the shapes like we do in clouds. I’m really enjoying how the organic frame is blending with the center image and the blue rocks next to the white waterfall are good and strong pulling the eyes in and then allowing the elements around it to wobble around. You probably look at your paintings upside down when they are in progress, it helps the composition and color choices! You can do even more if you mirror it in Photoshop! oil painting by Darren Daz Cox

Give fools their gold, and knaves their power; let fortune’s bubbles rise and fall; who sows a field, or trains a flower, or plants a tree, is more than all.

John Greenleaf Whittier quotes (American Writer, 1807-1892)
