Daz, The White Elephant may be my favorite yet. The concept of the glow in the dark painted moon is so Cool. I can imagine this hanging in my bedroom!

Two years is long time to a poster! I think you got your money's worth from it!

perhaps the fading was a sign from your subconcious/higher self to put a new piece of art up, with the money you save on u/v glass you could buy more posters!

think about it, why struggle against entropy? everything decays, your outside won't be young and pretty forever, perhaps this King Canute-esque struggle against the light is just a manefestation of your natural biological desire to stay young (not to mention the pressures of advertising compelling you to stay young or suffer the horrors of unattractiveness?

When the poster fades, scribble on it, have a day when you break the rules and just deface it, then buy a new poster! that's what i say!

I do have to confess to being a little afraid of light. We used to have a poster of hot air balloons (bawoons!) and all the red was bleached out of the print in less than two years by the ten minutes or so of sunlight that traveled across it every day. We got a new piece to put there - my girlfriend did hot air balloons in colored pencil - that's heavy on the blue. We're hoping the u/v glass will help this piece keep its color.
